About Rod Shulley

I have been fishing the coastal rivers, such as the Trask, Wilson, Nestucca, and Tillamook Bay along with the Willamette and Columbia for the last 25 years. Salmon and Steelhead, being my first love during my early fishing years, and Walleye and Sturgeon, later through the years. My passion has always been fishing and learning new techniques. I keep myself updated and consistently looking for new ways to catch fish. I really enjoy teaching and giving people the hands on learning experience.

Rod Shulley is a certified Guide and Outfitter Recognized Professional (GORP) through Oregon State University Extension/Oregon Sea Grant. GORP guides have demonstrated professional-level skills and knowledge in the areas of local geographic features, natural features, 101 species identification, and history, as well as guest services and business management in the outdoor recreation and tourism industry.
